The Players Club of Swarthmore presents Reefer Madness, with music by Dan Studney, book and lyrics by Kevin Murphy, directed by Thomas-Robert Irvin of Swarthmore, on the Raymond W. Smith stage. Pat Damato is the music director. Performances are January 27 and 28, 2017 at 8 p.m., January 29 at 4:20 p.m., February 3 at 8 p.m., and twice on February 4: 8 p.m. and again at midnight. Admission is $15, at the door or in advance at www.pcstheater.org or 866-811-4111. The Players Club is located at 614 Fairview Road in Swarthmore, PA.

Based on the 1936 American movie of the same name, Reefer Madness, a musical comedy, brims with political and religious satire and outrageous fun. The show pokes a satirical finger at governmental propaganda campaigns against marijuana use and its dangers.

The cast includes Jeff Berry, Madeline Iacobucci, Andrew Dean Laino, Meg Cranney, Chaz Meyers, Dana Corvino, Jeffrey Barg, Cathy Gibbons Mostek, Meghan Schulz, Christian Carter, Greg Hedler, Randino Del Rosario, Vince Vuono, Mary Beth Quirk, Amy Goldman, Nick Shaffer, Talia Kassie, and Catrine Olibrice.

Audience Advisory: Strong language, adult humor. The Players Club's Raymond W. Smith stage is not handicapped-accessible.
