POTTED POTTER: The Unauthorized Harry Experience - A Parody by Dan and Jeff, written and performed by two-time Olivier Award-nominated actors Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, comes to Jacksonville's Times-Union Center's Terry Theater from Tuesday, April 7-Sunday, April 12 for eight performances only! Tickets go on saleFriday, February 13 at 10AM through the FSCJ Artist Series, sponsored by Chase, the official presenter of the Jacksonville show.

A critic's pick by The New York Times, New York Magazine, Boston Globe, Chicago Daily Herald and Time Out London, POTTED POTTER takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing, or "potting," all seven Harry Potter books into 75 madcap minutes, aided by multiple costume changes, brilliant songs, ridiculous props, and a generous helping of Hogwarts magic. The two former BBC hosts also invite audiences to engage in a real-life game of Quidditch, played according to Clarkson and Turner's unique (and definitely not canon) set of rules.

Starvox Entertainment and Potted Productions introduced the hilarious show to North American audiences in Toronto at the Panasonic Theatre. After a record-breaking run in Toronto, POTTED POTTER headed to New York City and played a hit, off-Broadway run at The Little Shubert Theater, (the show has since returned to both cities as part of a third North American tour). This Monty Python-esque show has also sold out theatres across London, Edinburgh, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Dubai.

Tickets for POTTED POTTER in Jacksonville start at $33.74 (and at $25.09 for children 12 and under) atwww.artistseriesjax.org, (904) 442-2929, and the FSCJ Artist Series Box Office between 10AM-5PM, Monday-Friday. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more at (904) 442-2947 or groupsales@fscj.edu. VIP Quidditch seating is available in select seats of Price Level 1, where patrons will have a chance to be chosen to play a real version of Quidditch on stage!

Whether you camped outside a bookstore for three days awaiting the release of the Deathly Hallows, or you don't know the difference between a horcrux and a Hufflepuff, the comedy, magic, and mayhem of POTTED POTTER makes for a fun, and funny, visit to the theatre. POTTED POTTER is perfect for ages six to Dumbledore (who is very old indeed).

Critical acclaim for POTTED POTTER:

"The deliberately daft but utterly delightful Potted Potter is an unauthorised attempt to condense all seven Harry Potter books into one hour's stage time, and saves you an awful lot of reading. There's sure to be an authorised stage version one day that will take the stories altogether more seriously, but they will be hard pressed to summon such genuine affection and wit - let alone get the audience to play a game of Quidditch with just a bouncing ball." - London Sunday Express

"A fabulously funny parody. Will tickle the funny bone of every age group." - The London Daily Telegraph

"CRITICS' PICK! Breathless and HILARIOUS! The duo casts the perfect spell over the audience. Mr. Turner plays Harry, though when he wears those signature glasses, he looks more like that pinball wizard, Elton John. Mr. Clarkson, channeling a caffeinated Robin Williams, plays everyone else, including, among others, Ron and Hermione; Draco Malfoy; Snape; the Weasleys; Sirius Black; Mad-Eye Moody; Dumbledore; and, of course, He Who Must Not Be Named. You don't need to know all the plot twists and nuances of Hogwarts to enjoy the in-jokes, though clearly most of the delighted crowd does." - The New York Times
