WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director and Loop Executive Producer Terry Martin today announced details for the WaterTower Theatre produced 24-HR Play Festival. The event, to be held on Saturday, March 5 at 8 pm in the Main Stage, will include playwrights Devin Berg, Ruth Cantrell, Daniel Garcia and Brandi L. McDowell. Directors for the 24-HR Play Festival are Ariana Cook, Jeremy Dumont, Shelby Hibbs and Jeff Swearingen. The participating actors will be Colleen Ahern, Hannah Brake, Robin Clayton, Alexander Ferguson, Abel Flores Jr., Clinton Greenspan, Brad Hennigan, Chris Humphrey, Sherry Hurnes, Stephanie Cleghorn Jasso, Kim Lyle, Katlin Moon-Jones, Becca Shivers, Rashaun Sibley, Drew Wall, Brad Weatherford and Jeremy Whitekar. The 24-HR Play Festival is produced by Kyle Eric Bradford, Kelsey Leigh Ervi and Janeth Farnsworth.

Playwrights, directors and actors come together to create four brand new plays in just 24-hours. The four playwrights -- Devin Berg, Ruth Cantrell, Daniel Gracia and Brandi L. McDowell -- will be given a theme on Friday, March 4 which will inspire them to write a 15-minute play. The playwrights will also be assigned a director (Ariana Cook, Jeremy Dumont, Shelby Hibbs or Jeff Swearingen) and a group of actors (Colleen Ahern, Hannah Brake, Robin Clayton, Alexander Ferguson, Abel Flores Jr., Clinton Greenspan, Brad Hennigan, Chris Humphrey, Sherry Hurnes, Stephanie Cleghorn Jasso, Kim Lyle, Katlin Moon-Jones, Becca Shivers, Rashaun Sibley, Drew Wall, Brad Weatherford and Jeremy Whitekar) who will further inspire their original play. The 24-Hour Play Festival will culminate in a one-time only performance at 8pm on Saturday, March 5 in the Main Stage where each of the new plays will be performed for the public! The 24-HR Play Festival serves to provide a creative opportunity for local artists to work collaboratively.

An 11?day celebration of theatre, dance, music, and art, the Out of the Loop Fringe Festival features performances by arts organizations and artists from across the nation. Performances are held at the Addison Theatre Centre, in four performance venues: the Main Stage, the Studio Theatre, the Stone Cottage and the Main Lobby. The Festival is produced by Terry Martin and Kelsey Leigh Ervi.

The Festival is made possible, in part, through the generous support of The Town of Addison and the Texas Commission on the Arts as well as media sponsors, TheaterJones.com and the Dallas Observer.

Single tickets to all events are on sale now. Individual ticket prices for each event are $10. Lobby performances and play readings are free.
