Nick Thune's New Special FOLK HERO Set for 3/11 Release

Nick Thune's new comedy special Folk Hero will be released digitally on March 11th. With help from his guitars, comedian Nick Thune regales the audience of Brooklyn's Bell House with a collection of hilarious stories about his childhood, past romantic relationships and his experience with a burning building.

Nick Thune gives a hilarious performance documenting his life using his guitar and calming voice. Offering up a timeline of his life, starting from having to share a screen-name with his father when AOL first emerged, to gallivanting with stoned friends and beyond. Thune's witty intelligence makes for an extremely entertaining, well-rounded show.

Originally from Seattle Washington, Thune moved out to Los Angeles at the age of 24, to pursue his career in stand-up comedy, and has since caught the attention of many fans. With an impressive Twitter following, and appearances on all the podcasts and shows, Thune is making his presence known. In the most best way a gentlemen with a guitar and corduroys can.

Nick Thune has appeared on The Tonight Show 8 times, as well as on Conan and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Thune's previous Comedy Central special Thick Noon, was released in 2010 and was lauded as one of 2010's best.
