Nick Thune's latest comedy album, Folk Hero will be available on vinyl for the first time from Comedy Central Records on June 24. It is currently available for pre-order on InSound and other retailers.

The initial run of Folk Hero was pressed on clear vinyl and comes with a free download of the special for those times you aren't in front of your record player. In addition, to celebrate the release of the vinyl, Thune will hold a Vinyl Release Show at Subcultre Arts Underground in NYC on Sunday, June 22. Thune will perform live that evening along with Hannibal Buress, Wyatt Cenac, and Ben Kronberg.

Thune's absurdist view and deadpan wit, combined with the soothing lull of his guitar, have distinguished his unique style of comedy. In his second stand-up album, he regales the audience of Brooklyn's Bell Theatre with a collection of hilarious stories about his childhood, his past romantic relationships and his experience with a burning building.

Thune has appeared on The Tonight Show, Conan, The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon Comedy Central's @midnight, and in an episode of Comedy Central Presents. His debut album, Thick Noon was released on Comedy Central Records in 2010 and was included in Amazon's "Best of 2010 Comedy Albums." Thune's film credits include Mike Judge's Extract, Highway 61 Re: Revisited, Spring Breakdown, and Unaccompanied Minors. Thune has created two web series for Comedy Central: iThunes and NicksBigShow.com, and can currently be seen in Bad Johnson opposite Cam Gigandet and Jamie Chung. Thune is currently touring the country, changing lives one joke at a time.
