"Dateline NBC" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) ranked #1 for the night on the Big 4 networks in total viewers, as it hit a season high for a Thursday telecast in total viewers and matched a season high in 18-49.

"Dateline NBC" generated NBC's best total-viewer result in the slot in six months, since "Peter Pan Live!" (Dec. 4, 2014, 2.7 in 18-49, 11.2 million viewers overall in the 8-9 p.m. hour) and tied NBC's high since "Peter Pan" in adult 18-49 rating.

Opposite CBS's Thursday debut of "Big Brother" and Fox's series premiere of "Boom," "Dateline NBC" tied for the #2 rating of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49, behind only CBS's "Brother" debut.

"Aquarius" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) retained 97% of last week's total-viewer result (3.217 million vs. 3.329 million) and finished within 0.1 of last week in 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.7), despite airing against the season premiere of CBS's "Under the Dome." And note that "Aquarius," which had been available for binge viewing online for the past four weeks, is currently close to rounding up to last week's 0.7 rating in 18-49 (reporting a 0.64 in these prelim fast-affiliate Nielsens).

"Aquarius" will add substantial viewership via time-shifting -- "Aquarius" is growing by +42% in 18-49 rating (from a 0.95 to a 1.35) and 1.7 million viewers overall (5.1 million to 6.8 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

"Hannibal" (0.4/1 in 18-49, 1.6 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) retained 94% of last week's total-viewer result (1.595 million vs. 1.688 million) and finished within 0.1 of last week in 18-49, versus last night's season premieres of both CBS's "Under the Dome" and ABC's "Rookie Blue."

Despite the 10 p.m. hour, "Hannibal" maintained its rating half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (0.4 vs. 0.4), adults 25-54 (0.6 vs. 0.6) and nearly all other key demos.

"Hannibal" will add significant viewership via time-shifting -- "Hannibal" is increasing by +49% in 18-49 rating (from a 0.67 to a 1.00) and 987,000 viewers overall (2.6 million to 3.6 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
