Running Wild with Bear Grylls" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) hit a season high in adult 18-49 rating, growing +17% week to week in 18-49 (1.4 vs. 1.2). "Running Wild" scored the show's highest rating since Aug. 11, 2014 (1.5), topping the last three telecasts of last summer. With an episode featuring Ed Helms, "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" matched the show's second-highest rating to date (behind only the 1.5 on Aug. 11, 2014).

In total viewers, "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" hit a season high, increasing +12% week to week (4.058 million vs. 3.625 million). It's the most-watched "Running Wild" since Aug. 11, 2014 (4.542 million).

In the time period, "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key measures.

"Running Wild with Bear Grylls" will add significant viewership via time-shifting -- "Running Wild" is increasing by +20% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.24 to a 1.49) and 691,000 viewers overall (3.7 million to 4.4 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

"American Ninja Warrior" (1.8/7 in 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) ranks #1 for the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key demos.

"American Ninja Warrior" finished within 0.1 or 5% of last week's 1.9 in adults 18-49, equaled last week in adults 18-34 (1.2 vs. 1.2), adults, men and women 25-54 (2.3 each) and women 18-49 (1.9) and grew week to week in total viewers (6.323 million vs. 6.182 million).

"American Ninja Warrior" led last night's slot among the Big 4 in all key measures.

Heading into last night, "American Ninja Warrior"was up +16% summer to date versus one year ago in 18-49 (2.2 vs. 1.9, "most current") and up +24% or 1.4 million persons in total viewers (7.1 million vs. 5.7 million).

"American Ninja Warrior" will add substantial viewership via time-shifting -- "American Ninja Warrior" has grown by +18% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 ratings (from a 1.90 to a 2.25) and 908,000 viewers overall (6.4 million to 7.3 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; "CBS Summer Showcase," 1.8/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

For the Week:

· NBC has won the week of July 27-Aug. 2 in adults 18-49, delivering eight of the week's top 20 primetime telecasts on the Big 4 networks, including two editions of "America's Got Talent," as well as "American Ninja Warrior," "Last Comic Standing," "Hollywood Game Night," "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" and two editions of "Dateline NBC." According to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research, NBC averaged a 1.1 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 for the week and 4.8 million viewers overall.


· "America's Got Talent" was the week's most-watched telecast, averaging 10.3 million viewers, and also ranked #1 or tied for #1 on those nets in adults 25-54, men 25-54, men 18-49 and kids 2-11.


· "American Ninja Warrior" tied "Talent" as the week's #1 primetime telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX in men 18-49.


· In adults 18-49, NBC top-20 telecasts included Tuesday's "America's Got Talent" (tied for #3), Monday's "American Ninja Warrior" (tied for #5), Wednesday's "Talent" 10th anniversary special (#8), Wednesday's "Last Comic Standing" (tied for #9), Tuesday's "Hollywood Game Night" (tied for #12), Monday's "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" (tied for #12), Friday's "Dateline NBC" (tied for #15) and "Dateline Thursday Night Mystery" (tied for #18.


· Note that the prior week's July 21 telecast of "America's Got Talent" ranked as that week's top program across all television networks in "live plus three day" Nielsens in both adults 18-49 (2.71 rating) and total viewers (11.944 million).


· NBC ranked #1 for the week among the Big 4 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, women 18-49 (tie) and all key adult-male demos.


· For the 52-week 2014-15 season to date, NBC ranks #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and is #1 or tied for #1 among those nets in men 18-49 and adults and men 18-34.


· In total viewers, NBC is #2 for the season, and running within 6% of its year-ago Olympics-boosted average (7.9 million vs. 8.4 million), making this season and last NBC's two top-scoring seasons in total viewers at this point since the 2006-07 season. This is the second year in a row NBC has ranked #2 in total viewers at this point in the season, marking first two times since 2003-04 that NBC has ranked as high as #2 in total viewers at this point.
