Bettina May is thrilled to kick off the fall season of the Flatiron Follies with a stellar cast of some of the biggest names in burlesque!

The "hardest working man in showbiz", Murray Hill is taking a break from jet-setting the globe with Dita Von Teese to share some songs and jokes with you, and he'll be joined by the woman NY Daily News called "The decadent expression of female sensuality in action," NYC nightlife star Dirty Martini! This month also features that hurricane of intellectual sexuality, Stormy Leather, the pearl of Japan, Masae Satouchi, and burlesque newcomer, the Bronx beauty Nadia Chanté! As always, Bettina May will be singing and dancing throughout the show with the incomparable Chris Johnson on piano.

Bettina May is a New York-based pin-up model and burlesque performer, originally from the west coast of Canada. In the autumn of 2012 she was awarded the first ever burlesque-based "genius" green card from the USA for her outstanding abilities. She started her career in 2003, and since then has performed internationally on stages in Paris, London, Berlin, Rome and more, as well as touring nationally for the past 6 years. She has been featured on The Real Housewives of NYC, NBC News, CBS's The Couch and she has also performed for Brooke Shields, Kanye West, Jude Law, and more. She just published her first book, Everyday Bombshell, sharing her vintage style secrets, and teaches aspiring bombshells around the world with her touring Pin-Up Class. You can find out more about her at Bettina.ca.

Chris Johnson is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, vocalist and arranger specializing in Harlem stride and New Orleans piano styles. He is a member of Brooklyn's premier hot jazz band Red Hook Ramblers and educational rock band The Deedle Deedle Dees. He has also played with musical luminaries such as Roy Nathanson and Patti Smith.
