MotorCity Casino Hotel Welcomes Whoopi Goldberg Tonight

MotorCity Casino Hotel will welcome Whoopi Goldberg to Sound Board tonight, April 17, 2015 at 8 p.m.

Whoopi Goldberg is one of a very elite group of artists who have won a Grammy Award, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, an Emmy Award, and a Tony Award. She has appeared on many television series and specials, including her own HBO specials, and has hosted ABC's "A Gala for the President at Ford's Theatre" three times and is a nine-time host of "Comic Relief" with Billy Crystal and Robin Williams.

Whoopi has been honored with multiple NAACP Image Awards, numerous People's Choice Awards (including a special tribute in 1998), and five Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards as "Favorite Movie Actress," as well as various honors for her many humanitarian efforts.

Among her many awards and honors, Whoopi has placed prints of her hands, feet, and braids in the forecourt of the famed Grauman's Chinese Theatre and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in front of the Kodak Theatre.
