Minnie D'Moocha (Rockabilly Burlesque) & Francine "The Lucid Dream" (The Pink Room Burlesque) are reuniting for Take Back the 80's Burlesque: Happy Birthday Madonna!

It's 2015 but Minnie & Franny haven't seen each other in decades! Could a dose of Glasnost & Madonna save their friendship?! Minnie & Franny have been Desperately Seeking stardom since they asked their cab driver to take them to the middle of everything -- Times Square. Since they ended up living in an East Village tenement, things haven't always gone right but they promise that this show is going to make them STARS and leave the audience Breathless. Open Your Heart to them and they will Dress You Up in 80s burlesque love!

Take Back the 80s will bring you back to when times were simpler. The economy was booming, you could still smoke in taxis, your ruffled ankle socks were all the rage, The Go-Gos were America's sweethearts & everyone just LOVED the president. These were the 80s. Minnie & Francine are very excited to rock their way into NYC's Barracuda Heart with their totally awesome banter and rad stage presence. You can't help but think of Joan Jett & Lita Ford when our resident bad girl, Minnie, sings and thrusts. Good girl, Francine, purrs & bounces -- it's easy to believe she's Belinda Carlisle & Tiffany's love child. With all the glamorous burlesque girls and go-go dancers you'll feel like you're high -- but just say NO to drugs.

You may not be able to afford the price tag of seeing Madonna in concert in 2013 but our show is priced in 1980s US dollars. We're pretty sure the $12 cover of our show won't hurt your day-glo wallet. So come live the glamorous life: strap on your jelly shoes, bangle bracelets & come over for some burlesque -- stay to dance the night in the back lounge -- it will be more fun than you had at your high school prom!
