Mars Comedy's GUYS WITH ISSUES COMEDY SHOWCASE to Benefit Wounded Warrior Project, 1/26
Mars Comedy presents the "Guys With Issues COMEDY SHOWCASE" on Saturday, January 26th 2013 in Hawaiian Brian's Showroom at 1680 Kapiolani Boulevard; Honolulu, HI 96814. Door and bar open at 6:30 PM with the show starting at 7:30 PM.
This is a stand-up comedy show starring national touring headliner Graham Elwood, hosted by James Mane, and features Hawaii based comedians Patrick Tyrrell, David K Jones, Chad Wago, Michael C Hall, Jason Culpepper-Lamb, Powell C, Marckende Pierre, and Jonny Sparkles.

The Guys With Issues COMEDY SHOWCASE will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) through ticket sales, donations, as well as educate the public about the WWP. The purpose of the WWP is to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for our injured service members by providing unique direct programs and services to meet the needs of our wounded warriors. Also, to empower and encourage our injured service members to help other injured service members.
The headliner, Graham Elwood, is an international touring comedian that has done 7 USO tours in Iraq, Kuwait, and Afghanistan. He is also the co-creator and co-host of the Comedy Film Nerds podcast, which averages 15- 20 thousand downloads on iTunes every week. Graham has worked on Comedy Central with Sarah Silverman and Doug Benson and has created a documentary called "Laffghanistan: Comedy Down Range" which documents his emotional journey through Afghanistan war zones to entertain embattled U.S. Troops.
Some of the featured comedians in this show are either active military or retired. Patrick Tyrrell is in the Marines and works with rehabbing actual wounded warriors at the Kaneohe MCBH, Marckende Pierre is currently in the Marines, David K Jones is in the Air Force, and Powell C retired from the Air Force.
MarsComedy.com and the Guys With Issues started in January 2012 and always had the goal of developing and promoting the Stand-Up Comedy scene in Hawaii through social media, podcasting, and live comedy shows.
