The humor will fly fast and furious when New York City comedy club veteran Lenny Marcus comes to the Ware Center of Millersville University in Lancaster on Saturday, Jan. 24, for a night of comedy presented by local comedian-comic impresario Rubi Nicholas, to also feature Shane Gillis, a local stand-up favorite from Harrisburg, Michelle De Swarte, also from NYC, a professional model from London that provides amazingly sharp witted insight into the world of beauty in her new career as a rising young comedian on the NYC circuit. Doors will open at 7 pm and the laughs will start at 7:30 p.m. (must be 21 or older to attend.)

Lenny Marcus has done stand-up at all of New York's major comedy clubs for more than 15 years, and recently garnered rave reviews for his third appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman." He has also performed on Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham," AXS TV's "Gotham Comedy Live," NBC's "Friday Nite," and "Comedy Showcase with Louie Anderson," and has appeared on MSG's "The Bracket" and in TruTV's "World's Dumbest" series. He's performed numerous times at such prestigious comedy festivals as the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Canada; HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts festival in Aspen, Colo.; and the Great American Comedy Festival in Norfolk, Neb.

Also a writer and filmmaker, Marcus wrote and co-produced a show for Comedy Central's online "Crash Course in Comedy" series, has been a contributing writer for DailyComedy.com, and is currently the creator and co-star of the online comedy series, "Superstar Talent." He has also written for such national publications as Us Weekly, Life and Style magazines.
