Comix at Foxwoods presents its final round of this year's "Last Comix Standing" comedy competition, which begins Sunday, October 12 at 8:00 p.m.

Comix at Foxwood's perennial standup competition feature some of the top comedic talent throughout the country. The three-month competition, which began on August 6, started with 108 of the country's funniest comedians taking center stage for rights to don the title Last Comix Standing. Only 10 competitors advanced to the semi-finalist showcase and each was judged for on-stage presence, originality, and crowd reaction.

Four comics now remain for the final round, which begins Sunday, October 12 for a head-to-head face-off that will feature 20-minute sets from each performer. The winner will take home $1,250, a weekend headline gig at Comix at Foxwoods, a photo on the Comix Wall of Fame and the title "Last Comix Standing."

This year's finalists include AJ Foster (Utica NY); Mike Koutrobis (Nashua, NH); Kenny Ortega (Harlem, NY) and Damon Rozier (Brooklyn, NY)
