Katie Rubin to Headline Comedy Shows at Capital Stage, 3/8-9
On Friday, March 8, and Saturday, March 9 2013 Capital Stage's at 2215 J Street will feature a comedy event headlined by popular actress/comedienne Katie Rubin performing new material from her one-woman comedy show Everything! All at Once!
Capital Stage favorite Katie Rubin (THE NORTH PLAN, IN THE NEXT ROOM OR THE VIBRATOR PLAY) will return to Capital Stage with her signature solo comedy performances. In the tradition of her past hit solo shows MY SPIRITUAL DEATH (A COMEDY) and INSIDES OUT!, Ms. Rubin will present
an evening of some of her favorite material along with excerpts from her brand new show EVERYTHING! ALL AT ONCE! NOTE: This performance is recommended for adult audiences.
Katie Rubin is a stage and screen actress, writer, and director who is a regular performer with Capital Stage (In the Next Room or the vibrator play, Hunter Gatherers, Speech & Debate) including Amazing & Sage, her one-woman show produced in October 2011. She has performed with Sacramento Theatre Company, B Street Theatre, Foothill Theater, and on stages in New York, Massachusetts and Florida. She resides in Los Angeles where she recently co-produced a film starring Harry Hamlin, became a company member at Rogue Machine theater, and has been touring her third solo show, My Spiritual Death, a Comedy Show!
