According to Variety, 29 honorees from the worlds of motion pictures, television, live theatre, radio and recording have been tapped to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this year.

Among them are Broadway's KINKY BOOTS co-creators Harvey Fierstein & Cyndi Lauper, as well as ELEPHANT MAN star Bradley Cooper. Other stage vets in the mix include Kathy Bates and Debra Messing.

In reaction to the news, Fierstein Tweeted:

Just got exciting news... I'm being inducted into the Hollywood walk of fame! Ain't I fancy? Hope I'm not near a Porto potty.

The honorees were announced today, June 22, by musician Dave Koz and the heads of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the 2014-15 Walk of Fame selection committee.
