KIDS IN THE HALL'S Kevin McDonald to Return to Go Comedy, 9/21

Go Comedy! has announced the return of Kids In The Hall Co-Founder, Kevin McDonald, for a one-night only performance and improv workshop Sunday, September 21. Tickets for this special performance ($35) and all Go Comedy! shows ($5-$18) are available now online at www.gocomedy.net and beginning at 6:00pm Wednesday - Sunday in person at the Go Comedy! box office.

Improvisers, comedians and writers from across metro Detroit will converge at Go Comedy! for a full-day comedy workshop intensive Sunday, September 21 with Kids In The Hall co-founder Kevin McDonald. The workshop will take place at Go Comedy! from 10:00am - 5:00pm. Registration for the workshop is $200 and available online now at www.gocomedy.net/workshops. McDonald will then take the stage that night at 7:30pm for a special performance featuring work and students from the intensive. Tickets for the evening performance are $35 and on sale now at www.gocomedy.net.

In 1984, McDonald, along with his friend, Dave Foley, founded The Kids in the Hall. The troupe debuted their eponymous TV show in 1988. Over the show's seven-year run, he portrayed several popular recurring characters, such as the King of Empty Promises, Sir Simon Milligan, and Jerry Sizzler. Post-KITH, Kevin has appeared in many roles, including Arrested Development, Seinfeld, and Friends. He has also done voice work for shows such as Invader Zim, Clerks: THe Animated Series and Lilo & Stitch.
