Jet City Improv is proud to present the world premier of BLACK FLAG, an improvised comedy about the life and times of history's greatest pirate.

Every performance of this unscripted play features a new tale of adventure, love, infamy, and rum based on suggestions from the audience. Is it a thirst for fame and fortune that drives the captain and his crew, or are they charting a course for revenge? When swords are crossed and masts come crashing down, will this living legend flee for her home or fight for glory?

Audiences are at helm of every night's high-seas escapade complete with the thunder of cannons in surround sound, swashbuckling action sequences, and special drinks at the auditorium bar available for purchase during the performance.

The ensemble cast features a collection of improvisers and comedians from across Seattle: Nathan Cox, Kate Drummond, Hisam Goueli, Kyle Kizzier, Steve Lange, Alison Luhrs, Ryan Miller, Molly Tollefson, John Wachter and Trent Walkiewicz. BLACK FLAG was created by Anthony van Winkle and is directed by Adina Gillett and Anthony van Winkle.

Performances are Thursday and Friday nights at 8pm from Oct 1 through Nov 20 with a special opening night gala on Oct 1 featuring a Q&A with the actors followed by complimentary cake and champagne. Advance tickets are $15 for general admission ($18 at the door), $12 for students, seniors, military personnel, and TPS members ($15 at the door). This show will contain mild theatrical violence very mild language. Parental guidance under 13 is advised.
