Jen Kirkman is a stand-up comedian, writer & actress. She is a regular round table guest on Chelsea Lately and was one of the stars of the hit-spin-off 'mockumentary' show After Lately. Jen's second stand-up album called Hail to the Freaks, successfully hit #13 on the Billboard Charts. She is well known for her role as the narrator in the Funny or Die/HBO cult-hit series Drunk History, which won the jury prize at Sundance Film Festival.

Jen has performed stand-up on Late Night with Craig Ferguson, Conan, John Oliver's New York Stand-up Show on Comedy Central and more. Every month, Jen makes an appearance on Paul F. Tompkins' podcast, The Pod F. Tompkast, which was hailed by Rolling Stone as "The best comedy podcast of the moment." Jen has written for the NBC sitcom Perfect Couples and Disney's hit cartoon, Phineas and Ferb. She was a cast member of VH1's sketch show, Acceptable TV, and played many characters on the Cartoon Network's Home Movies, as well as Current TV's political cartoon Super News.

Most recently, Jen's first book, I Can Barely Take Care of Myself, came out in hardcover through Simon & Schuster and later as an audio book through Tantor Media.
