The Colony Hotel - which The Palm Beach Post has hailed as "probably the best place for cabaret on the planet" - has just launched a new Young Stars Summer Residency Program that will present many of Manhattan's hottest rising cabaret stars every weekend until Labor Day, all of which have been audience favorites during previous Royal Room engagements.
"No other supper club exists in Florida that offers this level of talent, or the polished ambience of our world famous Royal Room," says Roger Everingham, The Colony's Vice President & General Manager. "Our new Summer Residency Program for rising stars is attractive to them because they get to stay in a luxurious Colony Villa - usually $1,500 per day - between their weekend engagements, and they can bring their significant other or mom with them for a perfect Palm Beach vacation."
"Most performers will perform Friday and Saturday nights for two consecutive weekends, and both sultry Ariana Savalas - yes, she's Telly's daughter - and the delightful Carole J. Bufford will each perform five weekends in a row," he adds.

Smith Award for Excellence in Cabaret, along with multiple MAC, Bistro and Nightlife Awards and an Honorary Doctorate in Music. She has been named by the New York Times and the UK's Classical Source as one of the "saviors of the American Songbook." The modern day "King of Swing" and the youngest performer ever to debut in the Royal Room (he was 19 at the time), Nicolas King has been singing since he was 4. The young protégé of Liza Minnelli was first seen on Broadway in Beauty & The Beast, then in A Thousand Clowns opposite Tom Selleck, and in Hollywood Arms directed by Hal Prince, all before the age of 13. Other credits include eight consecutive annual performances on The Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, ABC's The View, NBC's Today Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and more than a dozen nation TV commercials. King went on the road as Liza's opening act during her 2006 tour, and he received the prestigious Julie Wilson Award from the Mabel Mercer Foundation at the 2010 Cabaret Convention.

Jeff Harnar, who Michael Feinstein has called, "One of the premiere interpreters of the Great American Songbook," is the winner of both the 2014 BroadwayWorld.com Best Male Vocalist Award and the 2012 Noel Coward Foundation Cabaret Award.
