Fresh from his Tony Award-winning, nightly show-stopping performance as the beloved Genie in Disney's Aladdin, as well as Broadway performances in Memphis and Spelling Bee, James Monroe Iglehart makes his 54 Below debut with How the Heck Did I Get Here? James relives his obsession with being cool, getting girls and a becoming a star told through funny childhood stories and songs ranging from R&B, Hip-Hop, Gospel and Broadway (and maybe a country tune!). Hilarity and silliness ensues as Robin De Jesus tries to figure out why learning, growing up, turning 30 and "becoming a better person" sucks. Expect to hear Broadway standards, 90's pop, today and tomorrow's hits. After starring on Broadway in Rent, In the Heights, and La Cage Aux Folles Robin can currently be seen on Broadway in the hit musical Wicked. Robin is also known to many from the hit indie movie Camp where he played the central role of Michael Flores. This is Robin's second show at 54 Below after his successful run with Crush to Crushed. TOTAL ECLIPSE: THE MUSIC OF JIM STEINMAN, May 5 at 7PM & 9:30PM:

On Tuesday, May 5th, Broadway's biggest voices will take to the 54 Below stage to sing the iconic rock hits of Grammy-award winning composer Jim Steinman. Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012, Steinman has sold more than 190 million records as the composer and lyricist behind such hit songs as "It's All Coming Back To Me Now," "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)," "Paradise by the Dashboard Light," and "Holding Out For A Hero." In 1983, he became the only artist in music history to have written and produced the simultaneous #1 and #2 song on the Billboard charts when "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" and "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All" held the top two spots on the Hot 100 for three weeks. Lesley Gore was a singer, songwriter, actress and activist. Her life and career touched people all over the world and her passing could not dim the light she shone on countless causes - from feminism to gay rights. Now a group of Lesley's peers and admirers come together to celebrate her life, her music and her iconic inspiration. From her early hits ("It's My Party") to her Oscar nominated anthem ("Out Here On My Own") and countless melodies in between Lesley Gore sang of standing tall and being true. We're honored to pay tribute to her life and legacy. It's HER party, indeed. LANE BRADBURY: LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU, AGAIN, May 8 at 7PM:

Lane Bradbury created the role of 'Dainty June' in the original Broadway production of Gypsy starring Ethel Merman, and her show, Lane Bradbury: Let Me Entertain You, Again is a highly personal tour of how she went from being an Atlanta Debutante to a performer on "The Great White Way" during the Golden Age of Broadway. Songs include "Gee, But It's Good To Be Here," "Corner Of The Sky," and "Another Hundred People," among others, as well as four songs from Gypsy: "Broadway," "Everything's Coming Up Roses," "If Momma Was Married," and, of course, "Let Me Entertain You." Bradbury's other stage credits include J.B., Gypsy, The Night of the Iguana, and Marathon '33. Her film credits include Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, Hawaii, The Barony, and Consenting Adults, and her TV work includes In the Heat of the Night, Kung Fu, The Rockford Files, The Partridge Family, The Waltons, and The Mod Squad. BRIAN NASH: FOREVER/ AFTER CD RELEASE CONCERT, May 8 at 9:30PM:

Popular musical director and pianist Brian Nash moves center stage for a concert celebrating the release of his debut solo album, Forever/After. Featuring songs by artists including Jason Mraz, Patty Griffin, Ben Folds, Jason Robert Brown, and Cyndi Lauper, Brian uses these composers' work to explore what happens after "always" is shorter than it should be. Backed by a full band and string quartet, Brian will perform the album in its entirety; in celebration, CDs will be sold afterwards at $10 each.
