The Intergalactic Nemesis is returning to Playhouse Square for one night only, February 25, with ROBOT PLANET RISING, a new installment of the cult-favorite live-action graphic novel series that has garnered critical acclaim from all over the country. Tickets are on sale now starting at just $10.

Combining the best of radio play, comic books and live theater, the Intergalactic Nemesis team creates a whole new form of theater...the live-action graphic novel. Three actors voice the dozens of characters, a Foley artist creates all the sound effects, and a pianist plays a cinematic score, while more than 1,250 individual full-color hi-res comic book panels tell a hilarious sci-fi adventure story visually from an enormous movie screen live on the Connor Palace stage. Each installment of the series features recurring characters, but stands on its own with no previous Intergalactic Nemesis experience required.

ROBOT PLANET RISING is set in 1933 in Robonovia on the Robot Planet, two weeks after the conclusion of Intergalactic Nemesis' first live-action graphic novel Target Earth. When commander El-Bee-Dee-Oh is lost in space, it's up to lead characters Molly Sloan and Timmy Mendez to find him. But when Molly's former fiancé shows up with his assistant (and Soviet spy) Natasha Zorokov in tow, Molly and Timmy discover a plot that threatens not only the very existence of Robonovia, but the safety of Earth itself. Will they uncover the source of the problem? And just who is this robot who calls himself "Alphatron", anyway?
