ImprovBoston to Host 3rd Annual Best of Boston Sketch Comedy

ImprovBoston's third-annual Best of Boston Sketch Comedy show unites the city's funniest sketch comedy teams for a three-week showcase of comedy writing and performing talent.

In addition to bringing the laughs, the show looks to grow Boston's reputation as one of the premier comedy cities in America. Featuring Boston sketch staple acts Baby Cut, Ike & Clark, Mister Bismuth, Terrible People and more, Best of Boston Sketch Comedy displays the brilliance, hilarity and boundary-pushing material of the city's top-tier teams.

Kevin Quigley and Allen McRae, two veteran sketch writers, lead the producing force behind Best of Boston Sketch. Quigley says, "Sketch is as vital to the fabric of Boston comedy as stand-up and improv, but rarely gets the chance to showcase its stuff. This year, Best of Boston Sketch Comedy presents nine of the most exciting, hilarious independent sketch acts Boston has to offer. "
