No one is born to be a failure. No one is poor who has friends. Simple thoughts that were the inspiration for one of the richest, most uplifting, most beloved American films ever made. Frank Capra's classic tale of George Bailey and his Christmas Eve visit with a guardian angel was nominated for five Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor. After 70 years, it remains as powerful and moving as the day it was made.

Leddy Center in Epping is proud to announce the return of It's A Wonderful Life adapted for the stage by Anthony E. Palermo from Frank Capra's classic film of the same name, for three weekends and three Wednesday matinees at 2:00pm, October 21- Nov. 9. The role of George Bailey, played by Jimmy Stewart in the movie, is played brilliantly by Leddy veteran, Don LaDuke, and the role of Mary Bailey, played by Donna Reed in the movie, is played to perfection by Leddy favorite, Jane Button. With an all star cast including Steve Koch as Mr. Potter, Bruce Gatchell, as Pop Bailey, Lynn Rockwell, as Ma Bailey, Mike Coppinger, as the Superintendent of Angels, Greg Dixon, as the adorable Clarence the Angel, Kevin Murphy, as Uncle Billy, Richard Gouin, as Harry, George's brother, Greg deZarn O'Hare, as the pharmacist, Mr. Gower, Deckard Thompson, as young George, Eddie McGee, as Officer Bert, and Matt Hutchins, as Ernie the cab driver, plus many other Bedford Falls townsfolk, It's A Wonderful Life comes alive on stage with all the power and emotion you expect from this all time classic story.

It's a Wonderful Life is being presented Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm and Sundays and three Wednesday afternoons, at 2:00pm. Tickets for all seats to all shows are $20 and can be purchased online at www.leddycenter.org and by visiting or calling the box office at 603-679-2781, Monday through Friday, between 3pm and 5:30pm.
