After ten days of sold-out performances, parties and professional development activities, the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival (TOsketchfest) is proud to announce the award-winning troupes from the 10th Anniversary Festival, which ran March 5-15, 2015.

The Best of the Fest Award was presented Sunday night to sketch comedy super group Get Some, at the Best of the Fest Showcase at The Theatre Centre. With this unprecedented award, Get Some has won a television development deal with Bruce McCulloch and TOsketchfest, in partnership with Accent Entertainment. A collective of Toronto's funniest and most successful comedians, Get Some includes members from amazing troupes such as Picnicface, The Sketchersons, Tony Ho, and Peter n' Chris.

"Get Some are amazingly energetic, talented, and strange. I'm so excited to be developing something with them," said Bruce McCulloch.

At the end of each TOsketchfest showcase audience members voted for their favourite troupes. Falcon Powder; Jim Annan, Scott Montgomery and Kurt Smeaton; won their hearts with the perfect mix of absurd story lines and hilarious one-liners to be named the NOW Magazine Audience Choice Award winners!

The Steam Whistle Brewing Producers' Pick Award went to comedy quartet Junkyard Dukes, featuring Phil Moorhead, Joel Buxton, Daryn McIntyre and Andy Auld. The TOsketchfest producers were impressed with their high-energy performances, commitment to the craft, and their enthusiastic participation in all Festival activities including panels and networking events.

The Understudies' Memorial Award for Sketchiest Sketch Troupe, a peer-nominated award, was bestowed upon sultans of silly O Dat Dum for their unique approach to comedy including pickle cannons, audience amenities and daily online newscasts.

The 10th Anniversary TOsketchfest smashed audience records with nearly 6000 people in attendance March 5-15, 2015 at The Theatre Centre, Comedy Bar and The Randolph Theatre.

The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival is Toronto's comedy festival, highlighting the best live, scripted comedy in North America. Since 2005 the Festival has brought sketch comedy to wider audiences with ticketed and free performances showcasing hundreds of artists in acts such as Kids in the Hall, Kate McKinnon, Michael Ian Black, Sassy Gay Friend, FrankenMatt, Picnicface, and The Irrelevant Show.
