The Gallo Center for the Arts has announced the addition of performances by singer Michael McDonald and comedian Carlos Mencia to its 2013-2014 season schedule. Tickets for both shows go on sale on Friday, December 20.

McDonald will appear at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, March 19, with tickets ranging in price from $29 to $89. He last performed at the Gallo Center in 2011. The 'blue eyed' soul singer has been a rock and pop music presence for four decades. From '70s-era Doobie Brothers classics such as "What A Fool Believes" and solo hits like "I Keep Forgettin,'" through two highly-acclaimed Motown cover albums, McDonald has earned five Grammy Awards.

Mencia comes to the Gallo Center on Saturday, June 21, at 8 pm, with tickets priced from $29 to $69. With man-on-the-street interviews, studio comedy, commercial parodies, nationwide tours, and films, Mencia connects with a wide and diverse audience. A Honduras native, the 17th of 18 children, he rose to stardom by appearing in numerous comedy and dramatic television shows, including "In Living Color," "The Bernie Mac Show" and "The Shield." Ultimately he landed his own Comedy Central show, "Mind of Mencia," and he continues to do specials for that network. Mencia's show contains adult themes and language.
