Gabriel Iglesias to Launch UNITY THROUGH LAUGHTER Tour in January 2014

Comedian Gabriel Iglesias will launch a new national tour, Unity Through Laughter in January 2014. Unity Through Laughter will be presented by Comedy Central Live, tickets will go on saleFriday, December 6th, 2013. Unity Through Laughter will kick off in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, January 4th, 2014, and will have more than 70 stops across the US, including: Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Orlando, Atlanta, Houston, Atlantic City and more.

Unity Through Laughter will make its way to the Bay Area when Gabriel Iglesias embarks upon the SAP Center inSan Jose on Friday, February 28th. Fans attending the show will not only be treated to new material, but will also be part of a live taping for the release of his new DVD scheduled for 2014.

In 2013 Iglesias found himself sitting atop some of the entertainment industry's most prestigious lists, with ForbesMagazine including Iglesias in its "Ones to Watch" list, and The Hollywood Reporter naming him to its "Top Five Grossing Standup Comedians." In addition, Iglesias' Comedy Central special Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffypremiered this past spring and generated the networks highest ratings for the year, the special was recently released on DVD and digital download and in fall 2013 Iglesias released the comedy CD, Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffy.

Iglesias will next be seen in this coming January's animated film The Nut Job, opposite Will Arnett, Katherine Heigl and Maya Rudolph. Iglesias' film career is red hot he has a co-starring role opposite Marlon Wayans in the comedy feature A Haunted House 2, to be released in March 2014. Iglesias' other recent film credits include this summer's Disney animated hit film Planes, and he appeared opposite Channing Tatum in Warner Bros. Magic Mike. Season three of his hit series Gabriel Iglesias Presents: Stand-Up Revolution will air in spring of 2014 on Comedy Central.
