The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre opens its 2016/2017 Ellen Arnold Groff Studio Series with a chilling Victorian thriller in the Tell Studio Theatre. The Ira Levin mystery, Veronica's Room, runs through October 30, with two added performances on Sunday, October 23 and Sunday, October 30 at 6:30 pm.

Veronica's Room, by the author of Deathtrap and Rosemary's Baby, explores the thin line between fantasy and reality, madness and murder. If you love Agatha Christie, this show is for you! Students Susan and Larry find themselves as guests lured to the crumbling Brabissant mansion by its dissolute caretakers. Struck by Susan's strong resemblance to the owner's long-deceased daughter Veronica, the older couple slowly persuades her to impersonate Veronica to comfort the confused sister, who believes she is still alive. Once dressed in Veronica's clothes, the line between what's real and what's not begins to blur. Veronica's Room ran on Broadway from October 1973 through December of the same year at the Music Box Theatre, for a total of 75 performances.

The unique Fulton Theatre production will invite audiences to step into Veronica's Room, with a set that envelopes the audience as they become part of the room where all the action happens, including main entrance doors that close to become book cases in the room. As if part of the furniture, audiences will experience every hair-raising thrill and every intricate nuance of the characters as they try to unfold the mystery of the production before another curveball is thrown their way.
