Enrique Iglesias Tops Winners of 2016 LATIN AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS; Full List

TELEMUNDO announced the winners of the 2016 edition of the "Latin American Music Awards" this evening during the live broadcast of the awards ceremony that featured performances by top English and Spanish-language singers, never before seen collaborations and an emotional multi-act homage to the late Juan Gabriel. The high profile event took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California and was broadcast simultaneously in NBC UNIVERSO and in 21 Latin American countries through Telemundo Internacional.

The awards show, which was hosted for second consecutive year by award-winning actress, TV host and multi-platinum singer Lucero, featured top English and Spanish-language musical acts. Among the highlights: Idina Menzel performed for the first time on U.S. Spanish-language TV, and Pitbull was joined onstage by Flo Rida and LunchMoney Lewis for a performance of "Greenlight", also a first on Spanish-language television. An emotional moment was felt worldwide when three iconic female voices celebrated the musical contributions of the late Juan Gabriel. Lila Dows, Aida Cuevas and Shaila Durcal performed signature songs penned by El Divo de Juarez and were accompanied by Mariachi De Mi Tierra Juan Gabriel, which toured with the late artist for over two decades; they were joined onstage by 48 additional mariachi musicians on an impressive musical tribute produced by award winner and Juan Gabriel collaborator Gustavo Farias and ARRANGED by Juan Gabriel's longtime friend and Musical Director Eduardo Magallanes.
