Emergent Arts to Welcome Chili Challis For Sunday Night Standup, 11/24

Emergent Arts presents an Open Mic with Chili Challis, comedian, standup coach, and former staff writer for The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, at 8pm this Sunday November 24. $5 suggested donation at the door. Refreshments will be served.

This is an ongoing event, every Sunday night at The Mix Studio Theater unless otherwise announced. Last week was great fun, so come on out and have the last laugh before the work week begins!

Message from Chili: "The open mic will be held in the workshop space of the Mix Theater off of N. Washington St, Ypsilanti, MI and will be open to the public. This is a small theater space and it is not a bar. A suggested minimum donation of $5 from audience members will go to theater overhead. There will be no charge for beverages to comics or audience. This open mic will not be about profiting on drinks or food, it's about the performance of standup comedy and the fans thereof. Comedians seeking stage time in this unique setting should contact me for scheduling."
