ESPN, ABC to Deliver 21 Hours of Live X GAMES AUSTIN 2016 Coverage

X GAMES Austin 2016 will receive extensive coverage across multiple television and digital platforms June 2-5, as world's best ACTION SPORTS athletes return to Austin, Texas, to compete for X GAMES gold and prize money. ESPN and ABC will televise a combined 21 hours of live X GAMES Austin content in high-definition with an additional 5.25 hours of competition streamed live exclusively on ESPN3. All the latest coverage will be offered across ESPN digital platforms, including XGames.com, the X GAMES app, and X GAMES pages across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and more. Following X GAMES Austin, ABC will deliver four hours of anthology programming on Saturday, June 11.

By enhancing and adding dimension to the X GAMES viewing experience through digital and social offerings, fans will have the opportunity to watch all the action, get an inside look at the event and establish a two-way conversation with ESPN X Games, athletes and other viewers. For the first time, fans can even purchase tickets straight from the X GAMES app. Content will also be accessible via WatchESPN and WATCH ABC to viewers who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.

In addition to all of the content on ESPN's U.S.-based media platforms, X GAMES Austin will be televised in 193 countries and territories to more than 534 million homes, including live coverage in Australia, Canada, Caribbean, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Japan, Spain, Sweden, Latin America, the Middle East, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, France, Spain and Africa.

The X GAMES Austin 2016 telecast officially kicks off on ESPN, Thursday, June 2, with the LifeProof Moto X Step Up Final at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) at 8:30 p.m. ET and Harley-Davidson Flat-Track Racing Final at 10 p.m. The four-day event will conclude on Sunday, June 5, with Fruit of the Loom Skateboard/BMX Big Air Doubles Final, beginning at 12 p.m. on ABC and then beginning at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN, the Intel BMX Dirt Final, Toyota's Men's Skateboard Park Final, Moto X Best Whip Final and Moto X QuarterPipe Final.

This year's X GAMES Austin telecast team will include returning talent: Brandon Graham, Tes Sewell, Kevin Robinson, Alyssa Roenigk, Jimmy Coleman, Toby Moody, Cameron Steele, Nicole Briscoe, Scottie Deubler and Cristy Lee. Also, joining the roster this year are Craig McMorris, Chris Miller, Victoria Arlen and Lowell Galindo.
