Don Barnhart's Battle Comics Gear Up for War Zone Comedy Tour

Picking up where Bob Hope left off, Vegas based comedian Don Barnhart is prepping to bring his Battle Comics to Afghanistan and Iraq to entertain the men and women serving in the war torn country.

Comedian Don Barnhart will once again take his Battle Comics - Comedy Tour overseas to entertain the men and women serving overseas for the Armed Forces and are seeking more sponsors to expand into a year long world tour for the troops.

Since 1992, award-winning comedian Don Barnhart has both performed and produced comedy shows for U.S. Military. He has toured extensively for The USO and recruited much of the comedy talent for their Comedy Break Series as well as touring extensively for Comics On Duty, AFE, MWR as well as personally producing his own tours as a way of saying, "Thank You" to the US military for all their sacrifices that they make during their tours of duty.

Working with Armed Forces Entertainment, Barnhart's Battle Comics team is schedule to visit Afghanistan and Iraq in early 2016 but funds are limited so Battle Comics is seeking more sponsorship to help underwrite an even larger, year long world tour helping to help boost the morale of those serving their country stationed away from home.

Working with AFE, Don Barnhart Entertainment and Battle Comics has the full support and clearance to get on and off the military installations along with the added sense of security should any problems arise.

War and combat are one of the most stressful things a soldier will face and although they train for it, it's not always easy. Right now, we are seeing a huge increase in suicides for the soldiers and providing comedy shows for the troops is just one of the many ways our nation is trying to deal with this tragic issue.

It has been said, "Laughter is the best medicine". It also turns out that comedy can be a preventative medicine as well. For years, stand up comedians have been entertaining the troops in war zones and on the front lines and Bob Hope really started it by showing the importance of bringing a piece of home to the men and women serving in the military.

By sponsoring a Battle Comics World Tour as the "Title Sponsor" your company will provide for 12 (two week) tours over the course of a year that will run both domestic and overseas reaching up to 500,000 personnel at the 270 military installations around the globe.
