Four time Grammy Award winner Renée Fleming makes her Broadway debut alongside Tony Award nominee Douglas Sills, two-time Emmy Award nominee Anna Chlumsky, Jerry O'Connell, Blake Hammond and Scott Robertson in Living on Love by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, based on the play Peccadillo by Garson Kanin, and directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. The world's most beloved opera singer Renée Fleming plays the world's most beloved opera singer in this hilarious new screwball comedy. When her larger-than-life maestro husband (Sills) becomes enamored with the lovely young lady (Chlumsky) hired to ghostwrite his largely fictional autobiography, the diva retaliates by hiring her own handsome, young scribe (O'Connell) to chronicle her life as an opera star. Sparks fly, silverware is thrown, and romance blossoms in the most unexpected ways.


RENÉE FLEMING
(Raquel De Angelis)

Fleming is one of the most acclaimed singers of our time. In 2013, the President awarded her America's highest honor for an individual artist, the National Medal of Arts. In February she became the first classical singer ever to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the Super Bowl. Winner of the 2013 Best Classical Vocal Grammy Award, she has sung at momentous occasions around the world- from the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony to the Diamond Jubilee Concert for Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. In 2008, she was the first woman in the 125-year history of The Metropolitan Opera to solo headline an opening night gala. Earlier this month, she sang at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Last New Year's Eve, Renée returned to The Metropolitan Opera in a new production of The Merry Widow. She has appeared in virtually all of the world's greatest opera houses and concert halls. Winner of four Grammy Awards, she released her first-ever holiday album, Christmas in New York, this past fall. With a multimedia profile rare among contemporary opera singers, Renée has recorded a wide range of music, from opera and lieder to jazz and indie rock, as well as the soundtrack of the film The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Known for bringing new audiences to classical music and opera, Renée has sung not only with Luciano Pavarotti and Plácido Domingo but also with Elton John, Lou Reed, Josh Groban, Joan Baez and even the Muppets. Among her awards are the Fulbright Lifetime Achievement Medal, the Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur, and numerous honorary doctorates, including one from The Juilliard School. In 2010, she was named the first-ever creative consultant at Lyric Opera of Chicago.

DOUGLAS SILLS
(Vito De Angelis)

Douglas received Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations for his critically acclaimed performance as The Scarlet Pimpernel on Broadway; a role which he reprised on the first national tour earning him an Ovation Award. He most recently starred in Lady Be Good at Encores, My Favorite Year at the York Theatre and as the title character in the Actors Fund performance of Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol. Other Broadway/New York: Little Shop of Horrors (Broadway, Drama League Award), Music in the Air and Carnival (Encores), On the 20th Century(Actors Fund) and Moonlight & Magnolias (MTC). National Tour: Gomez Addams in The Addams Family, The Secret Garden, Into the Woods. His regional theater credits include Living on Love (Williamstown Theater Festival), His Girl Friday (La Jolla Playhouse), Ride the Tiger (Long Wharf Theater), White Noise (Royal George, Chicago), Peter Pan (Paper Mill Playhouse), She Loves Me (Westport), A Little Night Music (Kennedy Center), Much Ado About Nothing (South Coast Rep),Mack & Mabel (Reprise LA) and numerous leading roles for the California Shakespeare Festival. Douglas has appeared on the small screen in recurring roles on "CSI" and "The Closer" as well as "Numb3rs," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and "Will & Grace." His film credits include the upcoming feature Erotic Fire of the Unattainable and Deuce Bigelow: European Gigolo. Douglas attended the University of Michigan and the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.

ANNA CHLUMSKY

JERRY O'CONNELL

Jerry O'Connell, born and raised in New York City, made his Broadway debut in Theresa Rebeck's Seminar in 2011. He began his acting career at age 11 when he when he co-starred as Vern Tessio in the classic Rob Reiner film Stand By Me. After graduating with a BFA from New York University, he returned to feature film work, notably receiving critical acclaim for his role as quarterback Frank Cushman inJerry Maguire with Tom Cruise. Additional screen credits: Scream 2; Can't Hardly Wait; Mission to Mars; Tomcats; the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced comedyKangaroo Jack; Yours, Mine and Ours; Man About Town (with Ben Affleck);Obsessed (with Beyonce Knowles); and Dimension Films' remake of the cult classicPiranha 3-D. Equally prolific on television, he most recently starred as Pete Kaczmarek in "The Defenders" opposite James Belushi. He previously starred on NBC's hit drama "Crossing Jordan" for six seasons. Other television credits include the Lifetime original movie "Nora Roberts' Midnight Bayou" opposite Faye Dunaway, "Sliders," the miniseries "The '60s" and "My Secret Identity." In 2004, O'Connell sold the screenplay for First Daughter to New Regency Films. He served as an executive producer for the film, which starred Katie Holmes and was directed by Forrest Whitaker.

BLAKE HAMMOND

SCOTT ROBERTSON
(Eric)

Scott recently appeared in Tarell Alvin McCraney's highly acclaimed Choir Boy at Manhattan Theatre Club and Alliance Theatre. He was featured in the HBO mini-series, Mildred Pierce, playing Mr. Rand opposite Kate Winslet. He last appeared on Broadway as Herr Schultz in the award winning Cabaret at Studio 54. His other Broadway credits include Damn Yankees with Jerry Lewis (also in London),The Boys From Syracuse, Mayor and Grease (Broadway debut). He has also appeared in New York City Opera productions of The Pajama Game and The Music Man. He has appeared off-Broadway in the premiere of My Occasion of Sin (Urban Stages); The Black Monk; The Glorious Ones (Lincoln Center Theater);Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh!; Song of Singapore; It's Only a Play. His regional credits include Annie 2 (Kennedy Center), Falsettos (Pittsburgh Public Theater), All in the Timing (Depot Theatre) and Harmony (La Jolla Playhouse). Films/TV:Tenderness with Russell Crowe, In and Out, Heartbreak Hospital, "Boardwalk Empire", "Law and Order", SVU", "CI", "Life on Mars", "Spin City", "Third Watch". As a playwright, Mr. Robertson wrote and performed Bucknaked, a love story (Manbites Dog Theatre, NC). Mr. Robertson has appeared with the Canadian Opera Company, Chataqua Opera, and New York City Opera.

TRIXIE
(Puccini)

Trixie, who plays "Puccini," was adopted from Pet Rescue in Armonk, NY. She last appeared on Broadway as "Mr. Woofles" in Bullets over Broadway. Trixie would like to note that no animals were harmed in the making of this production.
