Funnyman Deon Cole will bring his charismatic, side-splitting act to the Suncoast Showroom on August 2.

Following his first appearance on "Comic Justice," Cole has since appeared frequently in comedic bits on both "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" and "Conan." After a standup appearance on "The Tonight Show," Cole was offered a job as a staff writer for the show and has since made multiple appearances as a commentator and sketch performer.

He is currently a featured act on Conan O'Brien's "The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour." Cole has received two Primetime Emmy nominations for his work alongside the writing staff.

Additionally, Cole has performed his stand up routine on programs such as "John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show," "Mash Up" and "Lopez Tonight." Cole has performed as a featured comic in the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival and the CanWest Comedy Fest. Additionally, he was a finalist in NBC's "Stand-Up for Diversity Showcase" and he won BET's Robin Harris Award for most original comic.

Cole is also a successful actor, having appeared in MTV's "Short Circuitz" and "Wild N' Out" with Nick Cannon, as well as the first two movies in the "Barbershop" series.

Cole has been an integral part of several tours including the "Coca-Cola World European Tour for the Troops," "BET Comedy Tour," "Def Jam Tour," "Budweiser Superfest R. Kelly Tour" and "Mary J. Blige Tour."

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available from $15.95, plus tax and convenience fees, and can be purchased at any Boyd Gaming box office, by calling 702.636.7075, or visiting www.suncoastcasino.com.
