Stand-Up Month rages on when Dave Attell returns to Comedy Central in a big way. Saturday, April 12 will see the uncensored premiere of Attell's newest one-hour stand-up special, Dave Attell: Road Work at Midnight ET/PT, followed by the all-new uncensored stand-up series "Comedy Underground with Dave Attell" at 1:00 a.m. ET/PT.

"Dave Attell: Road Work" features multiple performances from the veteran comic's last tour, shot in the style of a concert film. Following him to Philadelphia, New Orleans, Minneapolis, New Brunswick, NJ, and Chicopee, MA, the special showcases Attell's clever R-rated material. "Road Work" was shot in a guerrilla style with cameramen in the audience, and even features footage shot by the audience members themselves, resulting in what Attell calls "a filthy, dirty mess of a show."

In "Comedy Underground with Dave Attell," the network's first-ever uncensored late-night stand-up series, Attell is joined by old friends as well as some new faces in their rawest, unfiltered state in New York City's historic Village Underground. The premiere episode features Joe DeRosa, Jermaine Fowler and Jay Oakerson, with special guest Jeff Ross. Additional guests in the eight-episode series include Judah Friedlander, Ralphie May, Nikki Glaser, Ari Shaffir, Lil Rel Howery, and Ali Wong, plus special guest appearances from Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Amy Schumer, Artie Lange, Jim Norton, Ron Jeremy and "Teen Mom's" Farrah Abraham.

New episodes of "Comedy Underground with Dave Attell" air uncensored on Saturdays at 1:00 a.m. ET/PT, and will be available two days after air in SD and HD on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Xbox Video, Sony Entertainment Network, Vudu and Verizon Flexview.

The "Dave Attell: Road Work" will be available immediately after premiere on CC: Stand-Up Direct, and April 15 on iTunes, Xbox Video, Sony Entertainment Network, Amazon Instant Video, Vudu, and Target.

Leading up to the on-air premieres, Comedy Central Stand-Up and cc.com/Attell will feature preview clips from the special and series. Fans can follow Attell on Twitter at @attell, and tweet using the hashtags #AttellUnderground and #RoadWork to join the social chatter around the special and series.

Attell is the creator and host of "Dave's Old Porn" on Showtime, which has featured such talent as Whitney Cummings, Chelsea Handler, Adam Carolla and Daniel Tosh. Named one of the "25 Funniest People in America" by Entertainment Weekly, Attell's caustic wit, rapid-fire delivery and his choice of material, which can best be described as "very adult," has earned him the reputation as a "comic's comic."

In 2001, Attell created the hit series "Insomniac with Dave Attell" for Comedy Central. A travelogue show in which Attell goes from city to city looking for late-night fun, the show was called "a doubly rare beast, a comedy without rancor and a travel show about the virtues of the American underdog," by The New York Times.

Attell has made numerous appearances on "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "The Howard Stern Show," "Last Call with Carson Daly" and "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." He also appeared in Chris Rock's cult film "Pootie Tang." Other television credits include FOX's "Arrested Development," NBC's "Ed," Comedy Central's "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn" and his own half-hour stand-up special "Comedy Central Presents Dave Attell." When not on the road, Attell makes regular appearances at the Comedy Cellar in New York City.

"Dave Attell: Road Work" is executive produced by Attell, Dave Becky and Josh Lieberman. Jonas Larsen and JoAnn Grigioni are the Executive in Charges for Comedy Central.
