Dana Carvey Headed to Ridgefield Playhouse, 6/19
Emmy-award winning comedian, American Comedy Award recipient and Saturday Night Live alumn, Dana Carvey has maintained a tremendous career for more than 35 years. Be it his own HBO comedy special, his legendary impressions (Bob Dylan, Jay Leno, Paul McCartney, Suze Orman, Keith Richards, Sting, Robin Williams, George H.W. Bush, H. Ross Perot, Johnny Carson, Casey Casem, Regis Philbin and many others), or his role as Garth Algar from the blockbuster film Wayne's World, Dana Carvey is a legend and one of the greatest comedians of all time. The very funny Carvey is coming to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, June 19, at 8 p.m. Bissell House (378 Main St., Ridgefield) will pour a free glass of house wine or draught beer with dinner the night of this show when tickets/stubs are presented. This event is underwritten by M&T Bank and is part of the Clark Construction Comedy Series.
In Carvey's own words, "I pretty much try to stay in a constant state of confusion just because of the expression it leaves on my face." With a show that includes video, music, sketch comedy and stand up, his Playhouse show is not to be missed.
