A second Philadelphia performance date has been added to Emmy-nominated comedian Craig Ferguson's Hot and Grumpy Tour: Walking the Earth as part of his sold-out Merriam Theater debut onThursday, February 12 at 8 p.m. A new encore performance on Wednesday, March 4 at 8 p.m. is now on sale to the public.

Ferguson's Hot and Grumpy Tour has been touring since 2013 and arrives in Philadelphia for the first time following his recent sign-off as host of CBS 3 The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson last month. The Scottish-born American star is known for his versatility as a writer, producer, actor and comedian, and solidified his TV host personality with comedic flair after embracing awkward pauses as improvisational commonplace, amid revelatory personal anecdotes, celebrity interviews and news day discussions, part of his late night talk show format.

Tickets for Craig Ferguson's Hot and Grumpy Tour: Walking the Earth on Wednesday, March 4 at 8 p.m. are available from $43.50 to $75 and can be purchased by calling 215-893-1999, online at kimmelcenter.org, at the Kimmel Center box office, Broad & Spruce Streets (open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

Craig Ferguson entered the world of late night comedy following a diverse and eclectic career that encompasses film, television and the stage. On December 19, 2014, Ferguson concluded his 10-year run as the host of CBS's The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, which has set all-time viewer records and earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination during its run. Ferguson can currently be seen as the host of the new syndicated game show Celebrity Name Game, from executive producers Courteney Cox and David Arquette. Ferguson recently lent his voice to the animated feature How to Train Your Dragon and its sequel, How to Train Your Dragon 2, as well as the Disney animated featuresWinnie The Pooh and Brave. He has become a huge success on the North American comedy circuit, having performed to sold out theaters all over the country, including Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall.
