Comix at Foxwoods presents "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star and host of MSG Network's, "Four Courses with J.B. Smoove" for a hilarious one-night-only performance at the Fox Theater at Foxwoods tonight, April 11, 2015 at 9:30 p.m.

J.B. Smoove is one of today's true kings of comedy. Smoove got his first crack at the entertainment industry back in the early '90s when he debuted on-stage for Russell Simmons', "Def Comedy Jam." His unforgettable performance suggested the making of a bonafide comedic superstar. The rest is history.

Since his first time picking up a microphone and stepping foot in the spotlight, Smoove's comedic bread and butter has been his bundle of rapid-fire monologues, which keeps his audiences roaring with laughter. Smoove's mind is always moving and it's what makes his humor a non-stop rollercoaster ride for all in attendance.

Smoove, best known for his recurring role as Leon Black on the HBO series, "Curb Your Enthusiasm," starred alongside the show's creator Larry David from Season 6 through 8. Currently, Smoove portrays a fictionalized version of himself on the BET comedy-improv reality TV parody, "Real Husbands of Hollywood," and in 2013, became a regular cast member of the CBS comedy, "The Millers."

In 2012, Smoove's first televised comedy special entitled, "J.B. Smoove: That's How I Dooz It," premiered on Comedy Central and was an instant classic. That year, Smoove also filled in as the co-host of the New York City morning talk show, "Good Day New York with Rosanna Scotto." In 2013, he appeared in a cameo as a gravedigger in an episode of FX's, "Louie" and played a supporting role in Season 4 of FX's, "The League." Also in 2013, Smoove appeared in "Movie 43" in the segment, "The Proposition" alongside Anna Faris and Chris Pratt.

Smoove not only thrives as the one delivering punch lines on-stage, but as a host of stand-up events, as well. In June 2008, Smoove taped several episodes of "The Gong Show with Dave Attell" as one of the celebrity judges. He was also a cast member on the short-lived sketch comedy program, "Cedric the Entertainer Presents." Smoove hosted the stand-up comedy series, "Russell Simmons Presents: Stand-Up at The El Rey" on Comedy Central in July 2010. Currently, Smoove can be seen on MSG Network's, "Four Courses with J.B. Smoove" which is in its third season.

The comedian has also lent his voice for various TV shows and videogames, including, "The Smurfs 2," an episode of FOX's, "The Simpsons," "American Dad" and an episode of Disney XD's, "Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil." His voice was also heard in the "Call of Duty: Black Ops" and "Grand Theft Auto XV" videogames.
