Kreischer became an overnight success after being discovered at Florida State University in 1997. As the man who served as the inspiration behind the hit film, "Van Wilder," his middle class indifference and sharp wit have since made him a favorite ever since on the comedy stage and television screen alike.
After becoming a sensation on the New York comedy circuit, Kreischer moved on to television roles, making his starring debut in the CBS/20thCentury Fox pilot, Life with David. He went on to star in his own Travel Channel reality series, Bert the Conqueror, and currently hosts Trip Flip - now in its 3rd season. He has also made appearances on Comedy Central's Premium Blend and VH1's Nevermind the Buzzcocks.
Further adding to his impressive resume, Kreischer hosted FX's The X-Show, and starred in his own show, Hurt Bert and has an upcoming autobiography "Life of the Party, Stories of a Perpetual Man-Child." He is also a regular on the late night and talk show circuits, with appearances on Good Morning America, The Late Show with David Letterman and Rachael Ray, just to name a few.
