Comix At Foxwoods welcomes back Boston comedy favorite, Lenny Clarke, for a weekend-long standup session starting today, March 27. Clarke will perform nightly at 8 p.m. and will wrap up his stay with a special "Nasty"-themed show at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are currently available and can be purchased in advance for $25, $50 and $60. These shows are 21+ and for mature audiences only.

Tickets are available online at www.comixatfoxwoods.com; by calling the Foxwoods Box Office at 800-200-2882; or in person at the Comix or Foxwoods Theaters Box Offices. Please contact the Comix Comedy Club at 860-312-5050 for additional information or with questions regarding group sales or private parties.

Best known for both his role as Uncle Teddy on FX's hit series, Rescue Me, and his thick Boston accent, Clarke has also starred in his own sitcom, Lenny, and appeared in Contest Searchlight, The Job, The John Larroquette Show and It's All Relative. On the big screen, he can be seen in such films as "Monument Ave.," "Fever Pitch" and "Southie." Most recently, he appeared in the feature film, "Here Comes the Boom," with Kevin James and Salma Hayek.

Clarke's status as the most famous "saloon comic" in Boston during the '80s was captured in the 2006 documentary, "When Standup Stood Out." The tale details his early career and affiliations with other Boston comics, such as good friends Steven Wright and Denis Leary. In 1980, he wrote and starred in a local television show, Lenny Clarke's Late Show, featuring Wright and Leary, along with fellow Boston comic, and roommate, Martin Olson.

Clarke is very involved with the Boston sports scene. He appeared in ESPN's 30 for 30 "4 Days in October" as a narrator, giving insight on the 2004 ALCS comeback by the Red Sox against the Yankees, alongside ESPN sports and pop culture columnist, Bill Simmons. He is also an occasional guest on the WEEI radio shows in Boston, and has been known to show his support for various Boston politicians throughout the years.
