The last Comedy Night of Season Eight at Playhouse on Park is upon us! Tickets are now on sale for the show on Saturday, June 3. Hosted by Dave Sheehan, Comedy Night features two co-headliners, Pam Werts and Rob Steen.

Rob Steen has been doing comedy for 25 years. He began as a street performer at the age of 12 in Boston MA. Using his juggling and improv skills he decided to try Stand-Up! Since then he has kept a full calendar of over 350 shows per year! Rob has also been featured on several TV shows including The Late Show with Dave Letterman where he is a frequent guest. Rob is very high energy and will bring the whole audience together as a group with his unique style of crowd participation. His act is a mix of situations & observations that he has been in for the past 21 years of being an entertainer.

Rob has been compared to Robin Williams due to his fast paced delivery & quick wit. Rob is great at working the crowd and making every show different. It is no wonder he is one of the most request comedians in the Northeast. Rob will keep you on your toes and laughing non-stop. Pamela Werts knew at age 19 that she wanted to make people laugh. When her father asked what she wanted to do with her life, she replied, "I want to be a stand up comic". His reply? "Not an option!". Years later, she decided to follow her desire despite his disapproval and never looked back. Since then, Pamela has been instrumental in building Chicks Are Funny, a successful monthly all female show at Funny Bone Comedy Clubs.

Pamela produced and hosted Chicks Are Funny for three years in Syracuse NY. She and her co-producer built the Chicks Are Funny show to being one of the most successful shows at the Syracuse Funny Bone. The show consistently had an audience of 200-300 every month. Pamela went on further to produce and host Chicks Are Funny at the Hartford, CT Funny Bone for two years. Pam has headlined in NYC at such clubs as The Broadway Comedy Club and The New York Comedy Club and she continues to feature at the famous Caroline's on Broadway. She has opened for such comedy giants as Richard Lewis and Judy Gold and Louie Anderson. She has featured for such acts as Moody McCarthy (Letterman) and Jim Florentine and Rich Vos. Pam is also a comedy writer for Rochester Woman Magazine.

Host Dave Sheehan is a lifelong resident of the New Haven, CT, area and has been a comedy regular in New England and New York for more than 10 years. He has also performed with various improvisational ensembles and was recently a semi-finalist in the Last Comix Standing competition at Comix Mohegan Sun.
Tickets are $15, all seats reserved. This event is BYOB! Show begins at 8pm.
