Welcome back to Meltdown Comics for season two of "The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail," otherwise known as Los Angeles' hottest stand-up comedy show, premiering Tuesday, June 30 at 12:30 a.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central®. For eager fans, season one will be available on cc.com and in the Comedy Central App to all users beginning June 8, and season two episodes, beginning with episode 2, will be available in the App to users that authenticate one week before they premiere.

Hosted, as always, by Jonah Ray and Kumail Nanjiani, the eight-episode, half-hour season once again captures some of the biggest names in comedy as they experiment with new bits onstage and hang out backstage. Executive produced by Red Hour, "The Meltdown" is directed by Lance Bangs. The show is shot documentary style in Meltdown Comics, Los Angeles' premiere comic book store, and features performances by Matt Braunger, Kurt Braunohler, HANNIBAL Buress, Bridget Everett, Ron Funches, Lauren Lapkus, Natasha Leggero, Al Madrigal, John Mulaney, Adam Pally, Paul Scheer, Nick Thune, and many more comedy heavyweights and up-and-comers.

The premiere episode features sets from Andy Daly, Abbi Jacobson, Ilana Glazer, Hampton Yount and Cameron Esposito.

Episodes of "The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail" will be available the day after air on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Xbox Video, Sony Entertainment Network, Vudu, Verizon Flexview and Google Play.

Leading up to the on-air premiere, Comedy Central Stand-Up and cc.com/TheMeltdown will feature preview clips, episode highlights, behind-the-scenes content and extended and deleted scenes from the series. Ray started his TV career as a writer's assistant for "The Andy Milonakis Show," before being fired then immediately being re-hired as a full time writer. Since then he has written and performed on shows such as "Adventure Time," "Human Giant," "The League," and "The Soup," and has appeared as a stand-up on "Conan" and "Live at Gotham," as well as Comedy Central's "Mash Up" and "The Half Hour." Ray can be seen in past seasons of "Drunk History" and "Big Time in Hollywood, FL" on Comedy Central as well as numerous appearances on "@midnight with Chris Hardwick." He has also appeared on "Maron," "Comedy Bang! Bang!" and "Garfunkel and Oates," and is one of Chris Hardwick's co-hosts of THE NERDIST Podcast, which is also a show on BBC America. Ray can also be seen touring the country as a solo stand-up, supporting his latest comedy record from AST Records, "Hello, Mr. Magic Plane Person, Hello," which debuted at number one on the iTunes Comedy Charts.

Nanjiani is a tireless Los Angeles-based writer, actor, and comedian. He currently stars as 'Dinesh' on the critically-acclaimed HBO comedy series "Silicon Valley," which recently won the TV Critics' Choice Award for 'Best Comedy Series' and has received several Emmy® and Golden Globe nominations. Nanjiani has also performed stand-up on "Conan," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," "The Late Show with David Letterman" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live." His 2013 comedy special "Kumail Nanjiani: Beta Male" was on the "best of 2013? lists for Vulture, Village Voice, and the Onion's A.V. Club, and it was chosen as best comedy special of the year by Entertainment Weekly. Nanjiani is a recurring cast member on shows including "Portlandia," "Broad City," "AdventureTime," and the web series "Burning Love." He has also appeared in the feature films "Hell Baby," "Loaded," "Bad Milo," "Five Year Engagement," and "Hot Tub Time Machine 2." He was a regular cast member on TNT's "Franklin and Bash" for two seasons. Nanjiani also hosts two podcasts, The Indoor Kids and THE X-FILES Files.
