For those who love "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" but hate visual stimuli, "The Daily Show" is proud to announce the "The Daily Show Podcast without Jon Stewart." Launching today, "The Daily Show Podcast without Jon Stewart" is available to stream online and to download via iTunes.

"It's hands down the funniest, most behind-the-scenes podcast you'll ever listen to with half your attention while you do other stuff," says Jon Stewart.

"The Daily Show Podcast without Jon Stewart" takes listeners behind-the-scenes with the team who make the Emmy® and Peabody® Award-winning series. Fresh 20-30 minute episodes will be available every other week featuring a new host pairing of "Daily Show" staffers, culled from among the show's writers and producers, along with correspondents and contributors from "The Best F*&#ing News Team Ever!"

Each episode of the podcast will explore how different elements of the show come together including anything from a deep dive into a recent segment, to interviews with current and former staffers, to finally answering that age-old question, "Does someone really sit in front of the TV and watch Fox News all day?"

In the inaugural episode, available now, head writer Elliott Kalan and correspondent Jessica Williams welcome producer Sara Taksler and writer Jo Miller for a conversation about mining comedy out of the issue of sexual assault on college campuses. Then, Kalan and Williams speak with 18-year veteran "Daily Show" writer J.R. Havlan who recently ended his tenure and takes a look back at the series. Finally, the hosts invite musically inclined listeners to create their own unique covers of "The Daily Show" theme song. To submit it, fans can upload their work to SoundCloud or Youtube and use hashtag #MyDailyShowTheme in the title and then share a link to their theme song with the podcast by visiting thedailyshow.cc.com/podcast.

"The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" airs Monday-Thursday at 11:00 p.m. and repeats at 1:00 a.m. the same night and at 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. the following day (all times ET/PT). Full episodes and clips are available for streaming the following day at www.thedailyshow.com and on the Comedy Central App. The show is also available on social media platforms Twitter andFacebook.
