Comedians Steve Martin and Martin Short Set for 'Very Stupid Conversation' at Fallsview Casino April 16-17
There is funny, and then there is fall-off-your-seat hilarious. The illustrious careers of comedy giants Steve Martin and Martin Short unite on stage at Fallsview Casino for two nights as part of Fallsview Casino's April live entertainment.
"It's a huge opportunity to bring two of the biggest names in comedy to our stage," said Cathy Price, Vice President of Marketing with Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara. "Their unique style of comedy connects with audiences of all ages, and their natural tact for entertaining is a great extension of our brand experience."
Fallsview audiences will receive a double whammy of laughs when Steve Martin and Martin Short engage together in "A Very Stupid Conversation". Appearing with the Steep Canyon Rangers, the two comic-actor friends present a unique blend of entertainment that includes an interview-format conversation, pithy one-liners, singing, banjo playing and film clips, all the while recalling their respective careers and creative influences.
Leading off the lineup is the return of Legends in Concert, the ultimate live celebrity tribute show featuring the greatest collection of celebrity look-alikes in the industry.
Rock 'n' Roll royalty, six-time JUNO Award-winner Burton Cummings, known for hits like "These Eyes" and "American Woman", takes the stage for one night only before '90s pop-rock band Sugar Ray closes out the concert roster performing popular favourites like "When It's Over" and "Every Morning".
