Comedian Whitney Cummings to Play Fox Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino, 7/20

Comix will welcome the extremely talented Whitney Cummings to the Fox Theater stage at Foxwoods Resort Casino on Saturday, July 20 at 8 p.m. Presale tickets are currently available through Comix and Ticketmaster, while regular tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Friday, May 31, at 10 a.m. and will be available for $35, $47.50 and $60. This show is for mature audiences only.

The Los Angeles-based comedian, actor, writer and producer co-created and co-wrote the CBS comedy, "2 Broke Girls," with Michael Patrick King, which will return this Fall for a third season. Cummings also wrote, produced and starred in her autobiographical sitcom, "Whitney," which aired on NBC for two seasons between September 2011 and April 2013.

In August 2010, her first one-hour special, titled "Whitney Cummings: Money Shot," premiered on Comedy Central, and she has also appeared on the network's show, "Roasts." In 2010, Cummings went on tour with Denis Leary and the Rescue Me Comedy Tour to promote the show's sixth season.
