On Monday, November 28th, Dr. Oz welcomes America's favorite self-proclaimed D-list celebrity: Kathy Griffin. Known for her outlandish antics and colorful language, Kathy Griffin is sitting down to talk about why laughter truly is the best medicine. She will also reveal what it took to get her to start living a healthier lifestyle. (check local listings)

On losing the beloved Joan Rivers, Griffin shares: "Well, you know, I refer to Joan as my person because, you know, we would have, you know, dinners all the time and she was truly equally a friend and a mentor. And you know our last dinner together it was funny she would always knock on the table...I would always hate it when people would go, she's mean. And I'd think, you don't get it at all. She was just the sweetest. And I remember, at the last dinner, she was knocking on the table and she kept going, aren't we lucky? Aren't we lucky? Our job is to make people laugh. Aren't we lucky? And that was the real Joan."

On how she found laughter after the passing of her loved ones, Griffin states: "Yeah, because you just have to. Like, for me, it's just not a choice. And I admit freely I have a very way too high ceiling for inappropriate things being funny. I will laugh--you guys, I'm evil. I laugh--you know what I think is funny? Okay, this is--I know I'm going to hell. I know that. I'm going to hell...his is my idea of a good time. And feel free to judge me 'cause I deserve it. Sometimes, I'll go to the ice skating rink and watch little kids fall."

On how she found the motivation to start eating healthy, Griffin reveals: "Well, for me, my body kind of told me. Like, I just couldn't do the junk food thing anymore because I just started to feel sick or low energy and my whole thing is, if I can't make people laugh I'm going to change it up and do whatever I can."
