Comedian Jay Mohr brings Mohr Funny Stories to Flappers Comedy Club

Actor, comedian, and sports enthusiast Jay Mohr will bring his unique take on showbiz, comedy, and life to Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant in Downtown Burbank on Friday, January 27 at 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, and Saturday, January 28 at 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

Named by Comedy Central as one of the 100 greatest standup comedians of all time, Mohr has been performing since he was sixteen. Never wanting to rest on his accomplishments, he played opposite Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire (1996), and co-starred with Jennifer Aniston in Picture Perfect (1997). He has added other genres to his journey by writing the best-selling book Gasping for Airtime: Two Years in the Trenches of Saturday Night Live (2004) about his battle with panic attacks throughout his tenure on the show.

On a much lighter note, Mohr's second book was the hilarious No Wonder My Parents Drank: Tales from a Standup Dad (2010), which describes in painful and beautifully funny detail the pros and cons of parenthood, which was subsequently optioned by ABC for development.

In the radio world, Mohr hosts the nationally syndicated daily show Jay Mohr Sports as well the weekly Mohr Stories podcast.
