The funniest week in Chicago, the Chicago Improv Festival will kick off on April Fool's Day, Monday, April 1, 2013, and continue until Sunday, April 7, 2013, Chicago Improv Productions announced today.

With numerous acts and ensembles from Chicago, the nation and the globe, the festival will take place at 15 different venues throughout Chicago. Highlights include performances by Scott Adsit of NBC's 30 Rock, Lucas Neff of FOX's Raising Hope, Craig Cackowski of NBC's Community and Rob Belushi of Spike TV's The Joe Schmo Show.

The 16th Annual Chicago Improv Festival is under the guidance of: Executive Producer Jonathan Pitts, Producer Aren Zolninger and Artistic Director Kevin Mullaney.
