The Sisters are Back! The Castle Craig Players will present the hilarious habit-forming musical NUNSENSE A-MEN! February 20-March 1 at the Almira F. Stephan Memorial Playhouse in Meriden.

Described as "Mrs. Doubtfire enters the convent," NUNSENSE A-MEN! brings all the hilarity and warmth from Dan Goggin's original NUNSENSE musical - with the amusing twist of the characters being played by men!

When the five Sisters of Hoboken discover that 52 fellow nuns were accidentally poisoned by their cook, Mother Superior desperately -and hilariously- stages a variety show to raise funds for the burials! Here we meet Reverend Mother Regina (Wesley Tack), a former circus performer; Sister Mary Hubert (Garth West), the Mistress of Novices; a streetwise nun from Brooklyn named Sister Robert Anne (Ian Galligan); Sister Mary Leo (Kuhlken Gorman), a novice who is a wannabe ballerina; and the delightfully wacky Sister Mary Amnesia (Jimmy Donahue), the nun who lost her memory when a crucifix fell on her head. Featuring star turns, tap and ballet dancing, an audience quiz, and comic surprises, this show has become an international phenomenon. NUNSENSE A-MEN! is directed by Ian Galligan, with Alan Dougherty serving as Music Director

Written by seminarian-turned-musical theater author, Dan Goggin, NUNSENSE has more than 5000 productions worldwide, it has been translated into 21 languages, and spawned 7 sequels!

NUNSENSE A-MEN! will be presented for six performances only - February 20-March 1 (Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2:00pm) at The Almira F. Stephan Memorial Playhouse, 59 West Main Street, Meriden, CT.

The show is presented Dinner Theatre/Cabaret Style - you provide the food, we provide the fun! With table seating, patrons are invited to bring their own dinner, drinks and snacks to enjoy. Tickets are $20, and seating is extremely limited. Tickets may be purchased online at www.CastleCraig.org or over the phone by calling toll-free 1-800-838-3006.
