COMEDY CENTRAL Records Releases Patton Oswalt's Finest Hour CD

Patton Oswalt offers up his unique take on a new range of topics in his new CD "Finest Hour." In his newest comedy special, recorded in Seattle, Oswalt talks about fatherhood, incontinent monkeys, crack heads and Jesus. As a 20-year veteran of the stand-up comedy scene, with three previous albums, concert DVDs, his own comedy tour and various acting and voiceover roles under his belt, Oswalt has become ubiquitous in the world of stand-up. His fourth (and quite possibly his best) album "Finest Hour" will be released by COMEDY CENTRAL Records on Tuesday, September 20.

The CD will be released in conjunction with Oswalt's Showtime special (which premiered on Monday, September 5) of the same name, which will also air on COMEDY CENTRAL next year.
In 2009, Oswalt won critical acclaim in Robert Siegel's feature film, "Big Fan," which made its debut at Sundance in January 2009. He will be seen next in Jason Reitman's upcoming film "Young Adult," starring opposite Charlize Theron.

As a comedian, Patton has shot four TV specials and three critically acclaimed albums including "My Weakness Is Strong," the recording of a one hour COMEDY CENTRAL special, which received a Grammy nomination for "Best Comedy Album." He now tours regularly, headlining both in the United States and UK. In addition, he has a bi-monthly show at the new Largo at the Coronet Theater in Los Angeles.

Oswalt was a series regular on Showtime's "United States of Tara" and played Spence on "The King of Queens" on CBS for nine seasons. He has appeared on "The Sarah Silverman Program," "Flight of the Conchords," "Seinfeld," "Reaper," "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" and "Tim and Eric's Awesome Show, Great Job!" and has a recurring role on SyFy's new series, "Caprica." Oswalt is a regular contributor to "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" and "Real Time with Bill Maher."
Oswalt appeared in Steven Soderbergh's feature film, "The Informant" and "Observe and Report" with Seth Rogen. He also starred in "The Comedians of Comedy," which was shot as an independent feature film, a TV series and a long running tour. Oswalt has appeared in more than 20 films, including "Magnolia," "Starsky and Hutch" and "Reno 911!: Miami." He provided the voice for Remy, the rat, in Pixar's Oscar-winning "Ratatouille" and voices characters on "Word Girl" and TBS's "Neighbors from Hell."

Oswalt's first published book, Zombie Spaceship Wasteland, went straight to the New York Times Best Seller List when it was released in January 2011. He will next be seen starring in the new Adult Swim live-action TV series, "The Heart, She Holler" premiering this November. Currently, Oswalt is shooting a lead part in the upcoming film "Scoutmasters," alongside Johnny Knoxville.
