Comedian Chris Tucker will be live at the Orpheum Theatre for a single engagement tonight, October 12 at 7:30 PM as part of the Chris Tucker LIVE 2013 world tour.

Ticket prices are $45.75 and $75.75. Tickets are on sale now and available for purchase online at the official Orpheum Theatre website, www.orpheum-memphis.com, The Orpheum Box Office (901.525.3000), the ticket counter at The Booksellers at Laurelwood, and all Ticketmaster centers (901.743.ARTS).

Christopher "Chris" Tucker is an American actor and comedian. Tucker began his career as a frequent stand up performer on Def Comedy Jam in the 1990s. He came to prominence in the 1995 film Friday alongside Ice Cube, where he defined his signature high-energy style of comedy.

Next, he co-starred and executive produced Money Talks with Charlie Sheen and appeared in Luc Besson's The Fifth Element. Tucker is best known for playing the role of Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour film series, which solidified him as a comic icon and propelled him into an international star. He most recently appeared in the Oscar nominated film Silver Linings Playbook with Robert DeNiro, Jennifer Lawrence, and Bradley Cooper. On June 30th, 2013, he hosted the highly acclaimed BET Awards.
